Kelshaw Pedigree Family Origins: BEDDOW (BEDDOE) family from Broseley, Shropshire were descendants of Elystan Glodrydd ‘Elystan the Renowned’ (975-1010), founder of one of the Royal Tribes of Wales. BOTEVYLE (BOTFIELD) Sir Geoffroy came over to England from France (Poitou-Charentes)  in 1215 to assist King John against his rebellious barons. He was made Governor of Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire by the King.
